Challenges & successes
With Phase 1 falling over the Christmas period, we successfully completed all scheduled works ahead of the holiday break. This enabled the client to reopen the area to traffic as normal and prevented any significant impact on the local community.
The works extended across 12 high‑impact locations, each with its own operational constraints and stakeholder sensitivities. Through effective planning, sequencing, and clear communication, the team was able to deliver the works safely and efficiently across all areas while minimising disruption.
A complex network of underground services was present throughout the site, requiring detailed surveys and carefully controlled excavation strategies to ensure safe progress. Despite these challenges, the team completed all works without any utility strikes or unplanned outages.
Outputs & Benefits
Health & Safety: There were zero reportable incidents or accidents throughout the works.
Snag-Free Completion: Upon completion, the sites were inspected with the client, and no snags were identified.
