Challenges and Successes

The construction site was located in a very congested village area where access was required at all times by village residents. Close liaison with the village residents and flexible working ensured that access was maintained to village properties whilst carrying out the works and the import/export of materials was efficiently managed.

The significant amount of uncharted buried services in the construction area required us to hand dig a large proportion of the area. This was successfully carried out without damaging any such services.

We successfully protected and worked around historical monuments adjacent to the construction site and delivered the project on time with no damage to any property.

Client Benefits

The surface water outfall has been significantly improved, alleviating flood risk in this area. Additionally, we overcame every challenge on behalf of our client and the local residents are very appreciative of our commitment, professionalism and the quality of the finished project.
