DSD Construction continues its drive to introduce new construction technology to continually improve construction safety, efficiency, and productivity.
In its latest innovation phase, DSD Construction has introduced a new innovative modular trench support system called ShoreTrench, in partnership with Sustainable Groundworks Solutions (SGS).
The ShoreTrench system is made in Britain and is the world’s first drive over trench support system. Its unique technology has been designed to make operations safer, save construction time and reduce the carbon footprint of excavation work, by providing a quick, easy trenching solution. The fully pre-assembled modules are ready to deploy in minutes with a patented interlocking system eliminating the need for initial assembly or manual lifting.
The ShoreTrench range includes several products including:
- Personnel Access Trench support (PATS) – Designed to provide safe access into an excavated trench.
- Drive over trench support unit (DOTS) – The world’s first drive over trench support.
- Foundation unit trench support (FUTS) – Designed for the housing market supporting trench pre-concreting.
